• Application of all make-up products – to include recognition of face shapes and correctivemake-up
• Care of the hands and feet – to include nail care, exfoliation, massage and nail painting
• Introduction to Nail technology
• Introduction to body massage treatments ( Swedish massage)
• Removal of hair using hot and cool wax methods
• Salon reception duties
• Displaying stock to promote sales in the salon
• The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care andcommunication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry

Internship opportunities will be offered with our industry partners such as Resorts/hotel spas, Day Spa, health clubs and Cosmetic Clinic.

To be awarded this qualification, learners must successfully
achieve the following assessments:

• External and internal practical examination
• External and internal theory examination( MCQ)
