Waxing is a popular beauty treatment given in beauty salons and spa. The main aim of Level 2 Certificate in waxing Treatments is to enable Learners to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide safely and effectively provide hair removal Treatments to the general public and to gain employment in the Spa Industry.

Prerequisite Requirements

The course is designed for anyone with an interest in learning. No formal qualifications are required to study with us. Our courses are suitable if you want to learn new skills, start a new career, or if you’re already working in a particular industry and wish to upgrade your talents and enhance your resume.

    *On the Waxing course you’ll be required to give and receive treatments therefore will need to ensure you allow hair (re)growth in the areas to be covered on the training day to a minimum of 0.5cm length to ensure all students have the best possible opportunity to practice their skills. Male students will need to provide their own female model to attend this training course.

Guided Learning Hours is ‘the activity of a learner in being taught or instructed by – or otherwise participating in education or training under the immediate guidance or supervision of – a lecturer, supervisor, tutor or other appropriate provider of education or training’. This includes ‘the activity of being assessed if the assessment takes place under the immediate guidance or supervision of a lecturer, supervisor, tutor or other appropriate provider of education or training’.
